“ My partner and I visited Gejas this past September with a Groupon discount. Even with that discount, we were treated incredibly well by everyone on staff. You could feel that they were excited to be running the service. My partner let them know about our anniversary and they made the night extra special we even have a little card to remember the occasion. Our waiter, Tyson, was a wealth of knowledge. He managed so many tables with the same level of care at no point were we left wondering what to do. He remembered our dietary restrictions throughout endless courses, it was amazing. The wait staff was full of attentive, courteous people. There was a live musical performance that night, too, which was a delightful addition to our trip. If I had any criticism, it would be this the pound cake may have been a miss, at least in terms of fondue dessert. I would also recommend avoiding the bathroom if youre on the claustrophobic side, but given that the location is underground, that might be a given. I look forward to visiting again whenever I find myself in Chicago. ”

“ One of the best dining experiences we have had in Chicago. Our service was phenomenal the staff were so friendly, attentive and informed. The food was delicious plus, it was such a fun and interactive dining experience. We went there to celebrate our first anniversary together. The staff were so accommodating, and it truly felt like they were honored that we chose their restaurant for our occasion, and excited to celebrate us. They gave us our choice of seating, in front of their incredible guitarist or tucked into one of their cozy and intimate coves. They had an anniversary card waiting for us at our table that all of the staff had individually signed! Very kind, and such a nice touch. I had The International menu option, and my boyfriend had the Beef Tenderloin Chicken, we also each had the wine pairing specific to each course. The courses started with a fondue cheese accompanied by various breads, fruits and vegetables. Then was the main protein course. Finally, the third course closed out our dining experience with fondue chocolate accompanied by fruits, cakes, marshmallows a graham cracker crumble, and churros. Everything from food to feel was lavish. We cant wait to return. ”

We began our evening with the Swiss Gruyere Cheese Fondue, paired beautifully with a refreshing Pear Elderflower Collins. For our entrees, we chose the Boneless Chicken Breast and the Deluxe Seafood, both of which were delicious and expertly prepared. To end the night on a sweet note, we indulged in the Belgian Chocolate Fondue, complemented by Gejas Dirty Martini a delightful combination that was the perfect finish to our meal. The atmosphere at Geja Cafe was wonderfully relaxing, making it the ideal setting to unwind and mentally prepare for the week ahead. The service was fantastic Mario was particularly attentive and patient, providing great recommendations throughout our meal.
